The official beginning of Winter is just a few weeks away! Though we don't get much snow here, it's worth a reminder to BE SAFE OUT THERE ON THE ICY OR SNOWY roads! The beTTER practice is just to stay home. If you absolutely have to get out, here are a few tips to help you avoid an accident.

1. slow down

2. leave plenty of distance between you and the vehicle in front of you

3. do not accelerate or brake too suddenly

4. if you start sliding, take your foot off the accelerator and turn your wheels in the direction that the rear of your vehicle is sliding
